What is Day of Play?
Day of Play is a free event hosted by Get Moving to promote healthy living among children in WV. It started in 2014 as a day for children to spend time outside participating in recreational activities with athletes from all backgrounds!

Day of Play Spring 26' Information
Itinerary:
Check-in is at 1:00pm-2:00pm. At check in, kids will receive a tshirt, a name tag, and a goodie bag.
From 1:00pm-2:00pm kids will be assigned a station number. During that time, we will sing the National Anthem, get group photos, and begin to send the kids back to their assigned stations.
Children will be given a bottle of water, fruit, and chances to win merchandise! 40+ WVU Athletes will be in attendance. They will help run each station.
*Weather permitting, the event might end 30 minutes early due to high temperatures*

For the Parents!
We will be having a 50/50 raffle. Our team will be walking around at check-in and during the stations.
By attending the Day of Play, your child will have the chance to win a basketball, baseball, or soccer ball signed by WVU athletes! The athletes will be presenting a ‘Most Outstanding Kid’ award to 2 children.
